Karina Noelle Castillo is a Los Angeles-based actor, producer, director, writer, and entrepreneur with a mission to amplify underrepresented voices through authentic storytelling. With 18 years of hands-on experience in film, television, and theater, and a decade of expertise in creative direction, graphic design, and social media management, Karina blends her artistic vision with a deep commitment to creating impactful, inclusive content.
An alumna of Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and California Institute of the Arts, Karina has earned recognition for her work both on screen and behind the camera. Her acting credits include notable roles on Lincoln Lawyer, Matlock, and The Good Doctor along with feature films Holidays and Missing, the sequel to the critically acclaimed Searching starring John Cho.
As the co-founder and CEO of Courtyard Entertainment, LLC, Karina spearheads innovative projects that celebrate diverse stories, specializing in podcasts, short films, and acting services. She is the recipient of the Mexican-American Cultural Education Foundation (MACEF) Filmmaker Production Grant and was a Second Rounder in the ScreenCraft Film Fund Grant. Her thriller script The Wall debuted in the top 13% of all Short Thriller projects on Coverfly, further solidifying her passion for creating gripping, socially resonant narratives.
